Rainbow e2 Vacuum

NEUTRAL: We broke down and purchased the Rainbow e2 vacuum from the salesperson who demonstrated it in our home.
Overall, we are pretty satisfied with it. Yes, it was a "chunk of change" but it offers more cleaning solutions than a traditional vacuum. Actually, that is one of its drawbacks as well. There is a bit of a learning curve to using it. Although I hated the fact that a salesperson had to demonstrate it, I think that's the only way to really understand what this vacuum can do.
We breed dogs and believe they should be raised underfoot for the best result. However, this means that we have a very hard time trying to rid our house of the dog smell.
Since the Rainbow uses water to clean, we can finally really remove the smells and dirt. It is also good for cleaning blinds, tile, as a wetvac and even for blowing up inflatable toys for the kids.
This definitely isn't the vacuum for everyone. It is heavy and cumbersome but the cleaning power and versatility it provides are exceptional. It can also be a pain to empty out but we solve that problem by just taking it outside. That's an option for us as we don't have any close neighbors but that's probably not the best option if you live in a subdivision. We have definitely gotten our money's worth out of it.
