Hoover C1633 Commercial Bagless Upright

RANT: I have had the Hoover C1633 Commercial Bagless Upright vacuum for about three years now, and it has not been the best one I have owned.

I bought it for residential use, not commercial use, because I wanted a vacuum that was tough and would last a long time.

It does a decent job deep cleaning my short-pile berber carpet, but it does not deep clean well on my thick pile rugs. The brush roll belt wears out often, and it is not easy to replace.

Finally, the bagless dirt chamber is convenient because you don't have to buy bags. However, it is not completely sealed to keep all the dust in. I have noted that dust/lint collects where the fabric top attaches to the dirt chamber.

Also, emptying the dust cup can get messy and should be done outdoors. In my opinion, this vacuum should only be used commercially and only on short pile carpets.

The only aspects I do like about this vacuum is that it has a very long power cord, and it is not loud. I'm probably going to get rid of it shortly.

I have an old Sanitaire upright that I fixed up, and it does a better deep cleaning job than the Hoover.
