Dyson DC17
I have had this $400 vacuum for just over 2 years and just picked it up today (for the 3rd time) for repairs. Belt broke twice and I don't remember what the first repair was. Bagless is not the way to go. As soon as can, I'm getting a new vacuum. I have spent about $150 in repairs in the last 18 months. I hate this Dyson. It's bulky, difficult to maneuver, heavy, a pain in the neck to maintain and always loses suction. I have 4 children and 2 black labs and this vacuum is not good enough for me. If you're thinking of buying one, look into consumer reports- that's what I should have done. Don't make the same mistake!!
