Over 46 years of housekeeping, this is the best vacuum I have ever had. The first two times I used it, I had to empty it (and I'm really not a bad housekeeper).


It may be a little hard on Berber carpeting at the seams, so if there are any problem areas, it is helpful to know that there is a switch where you can turn the beater bar off and just use the powerful suction for these problem areas.


If I am ever asked what vacuum to buy, this is the one I will recommend.
