Dyson DC14 Complete
I purchased a refurbished Dyson DC14 complete model and for the most part I am very pleased. The mattress attachment works very well on my microfiber couch, which is plaqued by static electricity and pulls all the dog hair directly to it. I do find that I need to move slower than other vaccuums, and the lack of "vacuum tracks" was a little unnerving at first - people take that as the sign that someone vacuumed, so without them it feels like you didnt do anything. The only real complaint is the noise it makes on rugs or loose carpets... the manual says this is normal and has something to do with preserving the belt, but it seems to do it a lot more than I expect. It came with many attachments, though I havent had much use yet for most of them. I bought it because I had gone through several cheaper vaccums that died quickly, and decided it would be worth the money to get one that would last. Hopefully, Dyson will live up to the hype in that regard!
