Love my Dyson!
I used to go through 2-3 vacuum cleaners per year before we bought this Dyson. With indoor animals, two long-haired dogs and a long-haired cat, other vacuums could just not keep up.
The other vacuum cleaners stopped sucking within months, leaving me with no other choice than to purchase another vacuum. My Dyson Dc 14 is two years old and it still works beautifully.
It does not clog and it is very easy to take apart to clean. Cleaning my Dyson is also less of a hassle than previous cleaners. All the filters are rinseable and the instructions for cleaning are quite simple.
I love the extendable arm and attachments for various surfaces. I also purchased attachments to reach under the bed to pick up dust and hair from the animals.
My Dyson DC 14 is also very easy to operate. I have both carpet and wooden floors and with a turn of a knob I can switch within the too. Other vacuum cleaners that I bought in the past were really heavy, but not my Dyson.
It is light, flexible and seems to glide over my carpet. Yes my Dyson cost a bit more than other vacuums in the beginning but it has been a worthwhile investment in the long run.
If my DC 14 ever dies, I am sticking with the Dyson brand name for my next purchase.
