Dyson Ball DC-24

I bought the Dyson DC-24 after doing a lot reading and researching information sites saying what an awesome new product it was.
I am very disappointed with this vacuum; it is not worth the hard earned money I've paid. It is compact, light weight, really cool looking, easy to carry, but the suction is poor to say the least.
When vacuuming up shredded paper off the carpet or bits of dry cat food off the hardwood floor, I have to make at least 3 passes. I tried to suck up a small finishing nail - nope had to bend down and pick it up by hand.
I continually have to hold the electrical cord as there is no place to "snap" it onto the handle. I will not buy another Dyson. My rating is 2.5 stars out of 5.
