Dirt Devil Platinum Force

RAVE: I chose the Dirt Devil Platinum Force hand vac. I've been using this vacuum for 3 years mostly cleaning pet hair from my two vehicles and have never had a repair.
It has a beater bar for digging out those stubborn Pug hairs. The head/beater bar comes free from the body for those hard to get into places or the crevice tool can be used with just the hose. The no bag dust collector is easy to open and clean. The extra long cord is a great addition so no extension cord is needed in most cases.
I wouldn't have believed it but I'd rather use this than those drop in the quarter ones at the car wash. It does a better job.
It wasn't the cheapest hand held vacuum cleaner, but I've already scrapped several of the less expensive ones that didn't do as good a job.
So far, I've been very pleased. It works very well for its intended job as a convenient alternative to a shop vac or using an upright or canister vacuum.
It was a good investment and well worth the price. I hope it lasts for several more years and from its performance so far, I'm sure it will.
