Dirt Devil M914

I bought the Dirt Devil M914 for a couple of reasons - first the brand. Then, it was on sale. So far I have used it for tradeshows. I usually do the setup and when I am done - I like to have a handheld vacuum to clean up the carpeting. I know the staff comes in at close - but this is a way for me to be sure it looks just right. I use the little vacuum every day before opening and again at close. This little handheld is powerful enough to suck up the lint and detritus of everyday life. The small bag size is just fine especially for a daily round.
I don't know however how it would do on pet hair. I don't think it has been highly successful for the car upholstery - it doesn't seem to get the pet hair off the smooth surface. It seems to pull up the obvious stuff pretty well - but the fur seems to cling and removal is not as nice as I would look.
The price was good. The weight of this machine is just fine - lightweight - easy to maneuver. I would definitely buy another of these - at least for my tradeshow application. But I am going to look for something a little tougher for the pet hair in the car.
