Dirt Devil Broom Vac

RAVE: The Dirt Devil Broom Vac is a great purchase for certain jobs. It is not intended as a whole house vacuum but is great as a supplement for specific cleaning jobs.
We bought this model to tackle the dog hair in our kitchen and mud room. We live in the country and only allow our lab in those two rooms.
Needless to say, he makes quite a mess of dog hair in there. We were using a Swiffer in those rooms, but we got tired of the costly replacement pads. It also wasn't great at capturing the dog hair dust bunnies on his dog bed.
This broom vac is a great price for what it does. We now use the Swiffer for wet cleaning afterwards and it's a great combo - the broom vac picks up all the hair and the Swiffer gets the mud from his paws.
Just like with a regular broom, sometimes we have to remove some of the bigger clumps of hair from the bristles.
The vacuum is easy to empty and does well in tight spaces.
So, if you're looking for a spot cleaning solution, this is a great option.
Don't expect it to perform like a full-service vacuum. It's great for light duty cleaning and that's about it.
